Spring is here in SD!

Beginning tonight I will be on VACATION for 10 days.  Lots of Little House projects and hope to get them all completed.  Had someone stop to make pictures of our place yesterday, guess folks take notice.  I know I do when I just ride around. There is a lot of beauty out there, we just have to slow down long enough to see it.  Here are a couple of our photos from last weekends projects.  LOVE  spring in SD! See the slide show of some of the projects.  Can’t get much done in a half a day, but it is looking nice.  Hope to put in a butterfly wildflower garden and something cool on the side of the barn! Pray for me! Blessings to you all.

Go And Make Disciples of Them….

Ben was traveling to North Housing from Hope House Friday night May 4th for a prayer meeting.  On his way a group of young men asked him where he was headed.  He replied to them, “I’m going to a prayer service”.  Their reply back was, “well say some prayers for us”.  Ben stopped, turned around and said to them “I’ll say a prayer for you NOW”.  They stopped what they were doing, stood there, bowed their heads and BEN PRAYED! Unashamed and boldly he prayed!  THIS is what God does when HE TRANSFORMS A LIFE.  Tim hopes to take Ben and Lauren to Sisseton, SD soon to share what God has done in their lives.  ‘THERE IS NO GOD LIKE OUR GOD’!

God is on the move & we’re moving with him

Ben rides his bike at least 2 or 3 times a week “30″ miles! He is amazing.

The guys at Hope House are really working there to get the place set up and bi-fold doors back up to house 5 men with their own private room. 4 full timers there now.

Lauren, Ben and Tim came up with a plan to get a shower and washer/dryer hook up put in and still have 2 toilet rooms. Now to get it done. A new man came in last night (Friday March 23, 2012) and was pretty sick still today.  Pray for him, last name “Jealous of Him” from another reservation.  He suffers with Epilepsy.  Also keep praying for NOAH.  He came back to church last Sunday.  Ben invited him.

God is on the MOVE! And we’re MOVING with him!

“crazy Days” but awesome days!

Not only have we had some amazing but “strange” weather here in South Dakota, we’ve had some real “different” happenings in our lives and ministry as well.  Tim will be

All Tribes Fellowship

going to visit our son and this is a good thing.  God is doing some “shaking” at ATF and we know it is a good thing

which will bring about some amazing breakthroughs for the ministry.   Keep us, our family, our ministry and ATF in prayer the next weeks ahead as we see what God is doing.

Continue to pray and believe for TOTAL and COMPLETE healing for Ben Spirit Track and all the men of Hope House.

Little House Front Porch

Miss Bee's Haven page

And OH what a BEAUTIFUL SPRING that we have had come in. Everything is turning GREEN and Spring Flowers are beginning to appear. Spent late Friday last week (March 16, 2012) putting the “winter” flowers away and putting Spring ones out. Looking forward to the weekends to get some more Spring Decorating done. Lighter colors and linens in the bedroom and give the rest of the house and front porch a Spring update.  Thanks to Two Women and a Hoe (face book page) and good friend Audrey Sterling and her talent, I’ve gotten some great ideas and also! Get this! Got Tim into checking out thrift stores and getting into “fixing” things up !!! :) He won’t recognize the place when he gets home.  OH want to share a photo “Miss Bee’s Haven” (another face book page I saw) it’s a cool bathroom decor I want to try somehow! I think the colors are so “relaxing”.  OK, I’ll stop now and get some work done.  Blessings on you all and have a wonderfully blessed remainder of March!

The Passing from this life to eternal life

After reading of Pastor Bob Williamson’s passing from this life into eternal life with the Lord he loved and served, I began remembering when Tim and I first arrived in SD living in Oelrichs with no friends, no congregation, no idea what we were doing and visiting Hot Springs AG where Pastor Bob and Marcy were pastoring. They were so excited because they were “expecting” their beautiful daughter Brianna Williamson and when they brought her home, the whole world revolved around that little bunch of Joy. And over the years we shared some great times with Bob and Marcy and always Brianna. It’s been far too many years now since we shared laughter and memories and now it will be only in eternity that we will have that chance again. Life is strange at most, and good times are there along with the not so good times. But I choose to look back and remember the fun, the laughter and the memories. Bob, you will be greatly missed and always loved and remembered.

I remember so well one year after the Williamsons’ went to Pensacola, FL and sharing with them their experiences but most of all our conversation about the Florida humidity.  Well, if you “choose” to visit Florida anytime in August, you are asking for a very humid experience.  Pastor Bob’s flat remark to us was, and I quote, “I would NEVER live in Florida”! I thought, uhoh buddy, never say never. And he didn’t, but he experienced God in a whole new way humidity and all.  We use to pick up some of our native friends from Oglala and #4 and take them to church with us there in Hot Springs.  They weren’t real sure what was going on; but they always enjoyed going and the people always treated them with respect and love.

We could reminisce about so many good times; but Tim and I  will just cherish them as we think of Bob today and Pray especially for his beautiful wife Marcy and beautiful and adorable daughter Brianna who was the apple of his eye! Bob, you are missed in this life; but we rejoice over the fact we will see you again and then there will be no parting there and no more sorrows to share, only peace forever more on those happy golden shores oh what a day that will be!

Sincerely, Tim and Elaine
